Nanjing, Capital of Jiangsu Province, is on the lower reaches of the Yantze River. Nanjing has an area of 6,421 Square Kilometers and a population of 5.62 million.

Nanjing served as a the capital for six dynasties in Chinese history. The metropolitan has abundant historical and cultural remains, and a large number of places of historic interest, such as the Xiaoling Mausoleum of the Ming Dynasty, Confucius Temple, Zhangyuan Garden, the city walls of the Ming Dynasty.

Nanjing is known as the "the Green ancient capital and a cultural city" thanks to its picturesque scenery consisting of the city walls, unique lanes and streets, gardensgreens squares, and exquisite lakes.
