General Introduction
China is a land of bicycles. Bicycles give feelings of freedom and of returning to nature. Cyclists can visit ancient sites, and stop and explore things along the way. Cycling does not harm the natural environment and doesn't cause pollution. 
It is also a convenient way of traveling that is becoming more and more popular.
Tibet Cycling Tour
Over ten years ago no one imagined that there would be cycling tour on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau which has an average elevation of over 4,000 meters. Now it is one of the most popular ways of sightseeing. Traveling on the top of the world tests the cyclist's will and health but it attracts more and more Chinese and foreign cycling amateurs. The well developed routes include: Lhasa City-Golmd City (in Qinghai Province); Lhasa Gyangtse-Xigaze; Lhasa-Xigaze-Zhangmu.
 
Ten Thousand People Cycling Tour in Shanghai
This will be held every Saturday from mid October to mid November. About 5,000 lovers of cycling will participate to exercise and view the city in a unique way.
Cycle Race Encircling Taihu Lake in Suzhou,Jiangsu
Taihu Lake is a vast expense of blue water, on which fishing boats come and go. Around it the picturesque scenery includes green bamboo forests. The race will be held in September. Participants in the race will have an opportunity of enjoying the beauty of the rivers and lakes of South China.
